Lustre Mailing Lists
(Updated: Nov 2010)
Join a Lustre™ mailing list to keep informed, ask questions, and discuss Lustre with other users and developers.
Lustre Announcements Mailing List
The lustre-announce mailing list provides announcements of upcoming Lustre events and Lustre releases along with other items of interest to Lustre users. You will typically receive only a few messages per month.
To sign up, go to the lustre-announce subscription page.
Lustre Discussion Mailing List
The lustre-discuss mailing list provides a forum for users to ask questions and report their experiences with the Lustre file system. You will receive a moderate number of messages per day, or can subscribe to the list digest, which bundles each day's traffic into a single mail message.
To sign up, go to the lustre-discuss subscription page. To review past messages, see the lustre-discuss-list archive.
Note: Users may experience a slight delay before their first posting appears. As a precaution, we verify that new contributors are legitimate (and not spammers), before authorizing their postings to this list. After this initial verification, user postings will be completely unmoderated.
Lustre Development Mailing List
The lustre-devel mailing list is used by Lustre developers to discuss Lustre internals, code changes, and other topics of interest to developers. You will receive a moderate number of messages per month.
To sign up, go to the lustre-devel subscription page. To review past messages, see the lustre-devel-list archive.

Lustre Community Mailing List
The lustre-community mailing list is used for "meta" discussion related to Lustre development, such as how feature design, code development, patch contribution, and landing is coordinated, and how to test the resulting code, test harnesses for simplifying this, the mechanics of code inspections, etc.
To sign up, go to the lustre-community subscription page or send an email to lustre-community-request@lists.lustre.org with the subject "subscribe". To review past messages, see the lustre-community-list archive.
