Architecture - Lustre DLDs
Lustre Detailed-Level Designs (DLDs) are now available to the public. You can download the original DLDs (in LyX format) from our CVS repository. Alternately, the most recent Lustre DLDs are available as PDFs on this page.
Checking out DLDs from the CVS Repository
Assuming you have CVS installed, you can check out all the Lustre DLDs as follows:
- Set CVSROOT in your environment to :pserver:anonymous@cvs.lustre.org:/lustre. Alternately add -d :pserver:anonymous@cvs.lustre.org:/lustre when run cvs login
- Run cvs login. No password is needed. Press Enter to continue.
- Check out the DLD module (doc/DLD)
Example:
In C:\Documents and Settings\User\Desktop: "C:\Program Files\CVSNT\cvs.exe" -q checkout -P doc/DLD
CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous@cvs.lustre.org:/lustre
U doc/DLD/CRYPTO_API.lyx U doc/DLD/CrayUnicosMPPort-dld.lyx U doc/DLD/ELC-CMD-DLD.lyx U doc/DLD/FilterFS_DLD.lyx U doc/DLD/LAID5_DLD.lyx U doc/DLD/LOVEA_DLD.lyx U doc/DLD/LustreNetworkingReorg-DLD.lyx U doc/DLD/MDD_OSD_DLD.lyx U doc/DLD/MDSEA_DLD.lyx U doc/DLD/Makefile U doc/DLD/PortalsLND-DLD.lyx U doc/DLD/PortalsLNDCatamount-DLD.lyx ......... Success, CVS operation completed
Note: Anonymous CVS access to the repository is READ-ONLY. If you would like to contribute a change, bug fix or other improvement to Lustre, please refer to our Contribution Policy.
DLDs Available as PDFs
For each DLD, a link to the PDF is provided, along with the title, author, date (original and update, if applicable), and synopsis.
NOTE: As older Lustre DLDs are converted to PDF, they will be added to this page.
