I would like to create a script which will make things much easier to submit a bug report. For example, the script will have to be run on the MDS, OSS, and the client (if applicable) which is causing the bug.

The information will be (not sorted by order of important):
*system uptime
*kernel version
*lustre version
*copy of syslog /var/log/messages(compressed)
*output of:
**/sbin/ifconfig -a
**dmesg
**lctl dl (only for MDS)
 
 
Any thoughts? or things I am missing?
